This thick, nourishing butter melts immediately on skin contact and is great for dry, aging skin (on face and body!). This moisturizer is especially good for night-time use. Apply before bed and allow to soak in completely. Awaken to smooth, nourished skin. Also makes a good moisturizer under makeup in the winter but may be too heavy for daytime use during the summer. The core natural ingredients all work together to nourish as well as smooth out the complexion. Oils used are considered to be low- to non-comedogenic.

PLEASE NOTE: Facial skin is more sensitive than other parts of the body, so individuals with any skin conditions should use products containing essential oils with caution (if your facial skin is sensitive, try our Calendula Shea Body Butter). As with any new skin product, a patch test should be done before use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Also, this face butter is purposely made thick to lessen the chance of it melting in the jar when outside during our summer markets or while being shipped to warmer states. Ambient temperature will determine exactly how hard/soft this butter will be and it will melt almost immediately on skin contact.

Hint: Scoop out a small amount and melt on fingertips before gently smoothing into skin.

Cindy A. Dennis MA Last August a friend introduced me to Darlene’s “all natural” soaps. When I first began using her soaps I didn't realize what a difference cleansing products could make to your skin. I had always used a good quality cleansing body bar in the shower and a nightly facial cleanser and night cream. After using Darlene’s soaps and body butters for two weeks I could feel a definite difference in my skin. Her all natural soaps do not leave a “residue” on my skin, It actually feels “squeaky clean” as you shower. All of Darlene’s soaps are great but I do have some favorites.
Her Lavender Goat's Milk is a gently cleansing soap and I use that as my nightly facial soap and follow It up with the Nourishing Face Butter. My complexion looks and feels great. Darlene’s soap scents are incredible too! There is nothing better than lathering up with a scent that will perk up your senses or relax you. My personal favorites are the Avodaco Cucumber, Sweet Orange Vanilla, which smells good enough to eat, and Eucalyptus Mint, which is a great pick me up! I highly recommend using Darlene’s all natural soaps and butters. Her products are not only healthy for your skin they make your skin look healthy.
